Readiness for Investment in Sustainable Energy (RISE)

RISE-Pilot-Report

In 2015, Mindfirst President Henry Vehovec was selected by the World Bank to lead research for Canada’s contribution to the Readiness for Investment in Sustainable Energy (RISE) global survey.  RISE is a new World Bank project providing indicators that compare the investment climate of countries across the three focus areas of the Sustainable Energy for ALL (SE4ALL) initiative: energy access, energy efficienty, and renewable energy.

RISE aims to influence policymakers to create a national enabling environment to attract investment into sustainable energy.  This goal is closely aligned with Mindfirst’s mission to inform business and government leaders so they might make better, more sustainanable decisions.

The RISE pilot project began in 2013 with a survey of 17 developing countries.  The results of the first global RISE survey will be available in 2016.
