Panelist – M1 Seminar #3 – Nuclear Power: The Case For Refurbishment
Dr. Greg Rzentkowski is Director General of Power Reactor Regulation at the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC). In this position, he is responsible for development and implementation of a regulatory framework that provides assurance that Nuclear Power Plants in Canada are constructed, operated, and decommissioned in a manner that protects health and safety of workers and the public, security, and the environment.
As a panelist in Mindfirst’s third seminar lunch titled Nuclear Power: The Case For Refurbishment, Mr Rzentkowski gave a presentation on the regulatory approach to life extension of nuclear power plants.
