Register now the M1 Seminar #11

Abstract

In recent seminars we have talked about energy in remote communities, distributed generation, microgrids and nanogrids. In all instances there is an omnipresent need for storage as an enabling component for renewables and other forms of energy. Innovation is happening in batteries, compressed air, flywheels, hydro, hydrogen, natural gas, pumped storage and other areas. As an investor and operator, and as a policy maker, which form of energy storage do you choose? What are the pros and cons of each? What is available today? What are the costs? What are the returns?

Speaker

We are seeking speakers that can provide a secular, unbiased perspective to energy storage. Preference is given to speakers that can speak to financial returns of various energy storage types.
