Rooftop gardens help increase a building’s energy efficiency by keeping it cool in summer and reducing heat loss in winter. There is the added benefit of creating aesthetically pleasing environments and views. With the passing of Ontario’s Green Energy Act many rooftops will become homes to energy producing solar panels.
