Toronto’s Cleantech Angel Network (CAN) will be launching their inaugural event on April 22, 2009. James Black, CAN’s Group Administrator, informed Mindfirst that a short list slate of candidate companies has been identified and qualified angel investors are being invited to participate. Formation of the group was supported by National Angel Capital Organization (NACO), the Province of Ontario, and the efforts of green conscious volunteers. Henry Vehovec, Mindfirst President, NACO Honorary Chair, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) Investment Committee Member, is pleased to participate, encourage, advise and cheer on.
