Mindfirst President Henry Vehovec announced today the launch of an intern program that will help Mindfirst clients develop sustainability strategies for their businesses. Mindfirst clients will be able to develop and deploy leading edge processes and methodologies at economical rates priced for growing businesses in turbulent economic times. In return, the interns will gain real world exposure to companies seeking to create sustainable solutions as part of their unique competitive advantage.
Mindfirst’s first team of interns includes MBA students from both the Rotman School of Management and the Schulich School of Business. Henry Vehovec became aware of the exemplary strategic thinking of the students as they presented novel approaches to a Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) portfolio company case which had been studied in class. Subsequent to interaction with Mr. Vehovec, Sudhanshu Chopra and Nikhil Venugopal competed as finalists in the Winnovation Challenge international business plan competition hosted Vestas Wind Systems A/S in Copenhagen, Denmark.
